‘NZ true test for Dhoni and Co.’

By OUR CORRESPONDENT

Mumbai, Feb. 20: Kolkata Knight Riders captain and former India skipper Sourav Ganguly said that M.S. Dhoni’s leadership skills would be tested on the tour of New Zealand.

In the city for a promotional event, Ganguly said taking on New Zealand on their turf would be a huge test for India. The prince of Kolkata said that all he remembered was that the Test matches on his last tour — in 2003 — had ended in two days. "I don’t think that they were the sort of pitches required for Test matches," said Ganguly.

That the former captain still feels he left behind some unfinished business was evident when he said that New Zealand has been one place he and his boys were unable to conquer. He was however, confident that the current team had it in them to do change that.
