New Zealand’s profile has been given a huge boost in India thanks to the exploits of the Indian cricket team and the adventures of Bollywood actress Preity Zinta as they bungy-jumped, sky-walked, went fishing and sailing on their way around New Zealand. "Preity Zinta is a leading Bollywood actress who is enormously famous. To have her visit New Zealand has been a huge boost to our profile in India," said Kiran Nambiar, Tourism New Zealand regional manager for India.

Zinta, with her adorable dimples and lustrous hair and her sense of fun in dressing down rather than like a fashionista had made her the best known face of IPL 2008.
