DURBAN, April 27: A visibly pleased Deccan Chargers skipper Adam Gilchrist reckoned there was a huge task ahead of them still and that the team was not to be satisfied with their four wins from as many starts in IPL-2.
"There is so much cricket to be played. The momentum can change in a matter of one over. What thrilled the team was that they were able to come through another tough game. We were tested yet again and the boys showed a lot of character and that is the biggest gain to be taken from this game," said Gilchrist after the Chargers comfortably beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets at Kingsmead here on Monday.
The opening stand set the tone for the win and Gilchrist was quick to pay compliments to his opening partner who guided the team through. "Gibbs is a transformed player, he has taken a closer look at his game and has come back refreshed. The leadership role he has taken is also helping the team. The energy he brings into this side is huge."
Despite the win, Gilchrist agreed under-bowling Pragyan Ojha was a mistake.
