Johannesburg, May 25: With the Champions League slated to begin in a few months’ time, South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs will soon have to make the difficult decision of deciding which team to play for — Deccan Chargers or Cape Cobras.

Gibbs was a part of domestic T20 winners Cobras and on Sunday his Hyderabad-based side lifted the Indian Premier League trophy.

IPL commissioner Lalit Modi said: "It is the player’s choice to decide which team he is going to play for." — PTI
