Mumbai, June 26: Former India captains Sunil Gavaskar and Sourav Ganguly have been invited by the International Cricket Council for the Centenary History Conference to be held in London on July 22 and 23, it is learnt.
According to sources, the conference will be held at Nissan Institute, St. Anthony’s College, Oxford.
Indian cricket historian Boria Majumdar, the host of the event, and BBC’s sports editor Mihir Bose are scheduled to discuss with Gavaskar on the topic ‘Half A Century of Game’.
Ganguly has been assigned to share his views on the ‘Changing Game: It’s not like it used to be’.
Former ICC presidents Jagmohan Dalmiya and Ehsan Mani, along with a few other speakers will reflect their views on "ICC in the past 100 years".
