India-Oz series opener in Jaipur

New Delhi, July 24: Australia’s seven-match ODI series in India will begin on October 25, with the first match in Jaipur.

The Australians will arrive in the capital on October 21 before leaving for Jaipur the next day, the Board of Control for Cricket in India said in a statement. According to the tour itinerary, six of the seven matches will be played under lights, with the exception of the penultimate game in Guwahati on November 8.

Mumbai, the target of a terror attack in November last year, will host the final match of the series on November 11. Nagpur (October 28), Delhi (October 31), Mohali (November 2) and Hyderabad (November 5) will host the other matches. The matches immediately follow after the inaugral edition of Champions League.
