India is the inaugural Twenty 20 World Cup Champions. In a thrilling encounter at Johannesburg on Monday, 25th September Mahendra Singh Dhoni's boys beat Pakistan by 5 runs to win the final. At the start of the tournament though India & Pakistan appeared to be the least fancied teams to win the Cup. It was however excellent teamwork & some brilliant individual performances from both these teams that saw them into the finals having beaten heavyweights like Australia, South Africa & England. |
