The curtains finally come down on the Cricket World Cup 2007. The Aussies continue their
29 game unbeaten streak into the finals beating Sri Lanka by 53 runs. With this World Cup
victory Australia create a hattrick of World Cup wins, also having the Cup for the fourth
time in its history. Glen McGrath with his haul of 26 wickets in the Championship is declared the
Man of the Series. The next World Cup will be held in 2011 in India, Sri Lanka & Pakistan but
there's a lot of cricketing action coming up till then.
